Syd & Liz Doyle tell the story of the early years of Ashford Christian Fellowship, Ashford Kent England. The roots of this now dynamic Fellowship began in 1975 on Stanhope Estate while they were serving in the Methodist Church. In 1980 they began Ashford Christian Fellowship after being "removed" from Stanhope Church House for their Evangelical stand. In all Syd and Liz pastored in Ashford for 23 years. They now have a world wide ministry preaching and teaching evangelism and Biblical leadership. They have led many large evangelism programs the latest being www.whosmyneighbor.org. Ashford Christian Fellowship continues to be a thriving community of followers of Jesus now located in the center of town in the Bank St. Church building, the former headquarters of the group that fired them so many years ago! Its thrilling for them to see the Fellowship thrive in this beautiful building, under the capable leadership of Pastor David Lamb and team. Everyone, including former members, is thrilled that this historic building is still being used to bring glory to God!
