ViT-Explainer: An Interactive Walkthrough of the Vision Transformer Pipeline

In this demo video, we showcase ViT-Explainer, an interactive web-based system designed to help users understand the internal workings of Vision Transformers (ViTs). The tool provides an end-to-end visualization of the ViT inference pipeline, from image tokenization to final classification. Through guided walkthroughs and free exploration modes, users can interact with attention maps, track class prediction evolution, and gain insights into the decision-making process of ViTs. This system is submitted as part of the System Demonstrations at ACL 2026, and aims to make Vision Transformer interpretability more accessible to students, educators, and researchers alike.
