On January 28th 2026 Rev. Tim Simonds woke to the words "well done my good and faithful servant." Time lived an amazing life, overcoming a 14 year heroin addiction when he met Jesus and was radically and irrevocably saved thereafter. Tim went through the program of Mission Teens in Norma, NJ, a discipleship program for those who struggle with addiction. After completing the program, Tim stayed and volunteered, eventually becoming the director. That decision to stay turned into a life spent serving Jesus and helping others the same way he himself was helped so long ago. He then spent the majority of his adulthood serving as the director of Mission Teens (over 35 years). Tim's life touched thousands of people over those years of loving Jesus and being a friend of sinners. Tim is survived by his brother Terry Simonds, sister Sandi Fatow, his son Dale T. Simonds (Phoebe K. Simonds) with their children Sophia Koo Simonds & Lucian M. Simonds. Along with Tim's youngest son, Jesse Simonds (Emilia Simonds) and Jesse's sons Caleb Timothy Simonds & Logan Simonds, as well as Tim's wife Dawn Simonds (nee Walsh). Rev.
