As a spinoff of Aloha Authentic, this new program brings together Native Hawaiian Storyteller Kamaka Pili with Haʻalilio Solomon, Assistant Professor of Hawaiian Language at Hālau ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi ʻo Kawaihuelani Center for Hawaiian Language at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. Created as a safe space to feel ignorant and unintimidated, ʻŌlelo Authentic is geared for all viewers, from those who know nothing about the Hawaiian language to those who are fluent and everyone in between.
