🐍 Shoreline Fire Department “shore” knows how to spec a #Velocity 107’ #AscendantTDA! 👏 The Velocity® custom chassis provides increased space and visibility for firefighters. The crew cab includes two forward-facing seats and dedicated medical equipment storage, with diamond plate flooring and vinyl seats for easy cleaning. Their #TractorDrawnAerial trailer height is raised 6” to boost compartment capacity. Equipment is mirrored on both sides for accessibility and to shield firefighters in high-traffic zones. Inset saw boxes and cameras enhance the tiller driver’s visibility by improving blind spot visuals. Saw boxes and stokes basket compartment are both accessible from ground level and on top of the #TDA. The #HerculesCAFS system, powered by a single compressed cylinder, delivers approximately six minutes of flow and 1,400 gallons of product. The rear is elevated 4” with a rub bar underneath to improve the departure angle and protection when driving through hilly terrain. Rub rails protect tools during retrieval and storage and shield marker lights. Designed for urban areas with limited lighting, the apparatus features increased scene lighting to illuminate workspaces in #ShorelineWA.
