However, when we understand the a good fire attack results in rapid and sustained decreases in Velocity and Density, we can read the smoke here to know there is still a fire working somewhere on floor two. Blending in our understanding of building construction and reading smoke leads us to see from the outside where the likely source of the smoke is: The triangle attic sections created by the pony walls. There are clear indicators from outside and communicating fire location to those inside can often be helpful.
