Hello :) This is the requested transcription I've done of the Elton John cover of the Beatles song "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds." Dee Murray was the bass player on this track. This recording from a live performance at Madison Square Gardens in 1974 featuring John Lennon. You can find this transcription at Muzento when you sign up with an Intermediate Lesson Plan. The biggest bit of advice I could give for getting through this song is to count! You'll be surprised at how easy it is to miss or gain a beat if you don't ;) The other tricky part is the intro. There are some subtle little slides I had to work on if I wanted to match what I was hearing. It makes for a good read. Pay attention to note length, be patient, and again...count! :) I hope you enjoy it.
