In this video, I’m reviewing Mansa Kunda Restaurant in Takoma Park, MD — a beautiful West African–inspired restaurant where nearly 90% of the menu is vegetarian. The owner is plant-based himself and prepares all dishes with intention, integrity, and care. Even when meat is requested, it’s cooked separately from vegetarian meals — no shared pots or pans. My mom and sister (both Blood Type O) joined me, and we made conscious choices while still enjoying our day. While Type O generally does best limiting grains, we believe in balance and awareness — not restriction. What stood out most? We left satisfied and energized — not stuffed, sluggish, or ready for a nap.
