This video is promoting the Longfield Hospice "For the Love of Longfield" Campaign 2025. In this video Kris, Ellie and Ralph from the Kerry family sit down to talk about their experience with the Longfield Hospice Nurses during the end of life support for Kris's Mum. Kris opens up and tells us the story from 2022 of her Mum's lung cancer diagnosis in Easter 2021 and how Longfield supported her Mum nearing the end of her life and how it had such a positive impact on them all during that time. "Without Longfield there's nothing and as I've said before, no Longfield... no life." Kris also share's her experience receiving the counselling services that Longfield provides and shared that due to those services she is now able to talk about her Mum with "a smile on my face and not tears in my eyes" The story doesn't end there, Kris saw a job advertised for Longfield Hospice at Home in 2024 and applied because she always wanted to give back to Longfield for the support they gave her and her family during her Mums end of life care. Now she works within the Longfield Hospice at Home team. The Kerry family continue to share their Love for Longfield and we are extremely thankful to all Kris, Ellie and Ralph for coming in to talk to us about their story for this campaign.
