📍 Episode 7 – Mastuj Chitral to Gilgit Baltistan via Shandur Pass Welcome to the 7th episode of my longest ever Northern Pakistan travel series. Over the next few videos, I’ll be taking you along on an 18-day journey where I covered around 3,000 kilometers across some of the most stunning parts of Pakistan. We embarked on an epic journey, crossing iconic mountain passes like Shandur Pass, famous for its polo festival, and Lowari Pass via the Lowari Tunnel. We explored the breathtaking Phander Valley, visited Gilgit, and Hunza. From there, we traveled along the scenic Gilgit-Skardu Road, spent a night at Deosai, the world's second-highest plateau, known as the 'Land of Giants. We also explored Shiger, Katpana, and the stunning Sarfranga Cold Desert in Skardu. Finally, we flew back to Lahore on a PIA flight from Skardu. In Episode 7 of our Pakistan travel vlog series, we take on one of the most exciting days of the journey — crossing Shandur Pass, the legendary “Roof of the World”, to officially enter Gilgit Baltistan from Chitral.
