Our Welcome Video for Amputee Fun Fest 2025 The Amputee Center we exist to remind people that life does not stop with limb loss, it expands in new and powerful ways. Rooted in Parkersburg, West Virginia, we serve amputees, limb-difference individuals, and their families through adaptive fitness, peer support, education, and whole-person healing that honors both strength and vulnerability. Fun Fest is our annual celebration of that spirit. Each year, we gather not just to raise funds, but to raise visibility, joy, and connection. Fun Fest showcases amputees living boldly, moving freely, laughing loudly, and taking up space in a world that often underestimates them.
