White Raven Wisdom Share & Art Process - Navigating The Unknown
Today, I was received message downloads while I was creating artwork - ie - while I was doing what brings me joy & what distracts my unruly "monkey mind." Watch along as I work on my latest piece of artwork, "Forget Me Knot" in a medium I have never worked with before - watercolor. As I paint with watercolor, we are presented with the analogy that just as water can bring life to dried watercolor paint, so can attention to an abandoned Spiritual practice. By simply dedicating a little attention to your practice, new life will be given to it & it will begin immediately to take shape & to bring color to your life. Where attention goes, energy flows! As turbulent times arise in our lives, we are also reminded to be like water, a wellspring of life that is fluid and adaptable to life's many changes & not resistant. To also seek out quietude & stillness where we can drop into our revived Spiritual practice; a place to mind our unruly minds by distracting our thoughts with things that sing to our soul & by staying in our joy. In doing so, we are better equipped to come up with solutions to many of the situations in our lives as well as to shift our focus toward transmuting missteps as they come - we are better able to take life as it comes.
