Why not? Because the real you is already healed and "awake". I put "awake" in parentheses - quote unquote - because the real you - the Self that is shining here now - perfectly whole - doesn't have a personality. It doesn't experience pain. It doesn't have a body. It was never asleep. So it doesn't wake up. In truth, the "you" that wants healing or awakening isn't real. The body-self is a figment of imagination.
