Tragically, 36 year old Gary Neice in the #00 Oldsmobile Cutlass on Saturday May 4, 1991 died during the NASCAR Busch Grand National Series race at South Boston. Track officials found Neice unresponsive after he hit the wall in turn 3. He was transported to a nearby hospital where he died.
