They come to God as they are and tell Him, ‘here I am at the end of the road and all I need is hope to go on.’ … I have been there and came out several times. I want to assure you that giving up is not a good option. Wipe off the dust, drink some water, breathe in and try again! Like Job of old, after you have been tried, you will come forth as gold.” Taken from the book of Job chapter 14 verses 7 to 9, this is a song for new beginnings. This is what the Bible says: “At least there is hope for a tree: If it is cut down, it will sprout again, and its new shoots will not fail. Its roots may grow old in the ground and its stump die in the soil, yet at the scent of water it will bud and put forth shoots like a plant."
