Especially for the price, something like the Core Ultra 7 to 65K will crush a 9800X3D in heavily multi-threaded applications, but for gaming it is a blowout. The 9800X3D makes a joke of the 265K. However, the 265K also has a ton of levers to pull when it comes to overclocking, and in fact, there's more things you can do to this chip than any chip I have ever seen before, making for excellent overclocking. And in the past, I believe I was able to get over 50% more performance in a game out of the 265K, but actually MSI sent me their best board, the Z890 Unifi X, as they were confident that it would give me very, very good results. And spoiler alert, these are the best results I've ever seen. The performance uplift is absolutely insane for gaming. And on top of that, I also went ahead and not just overclock the core, the cache, the fabric and all that stuff, which I will have in the description below if you want all the details, but I even tuned the memory. Now this memory was sent to me by Kingston for this video, and it's a brand new CU-DIMM 8400 megatransfer kit, which I actually got up to 8800 megatransfer CL42 with a ton of other timings tightened. And this combined with the new four terabyte MP700 Pro SE that was sent to me by Corsair for all the games we'll be testing in today's video, allowed me to get some really insane results. I took all that, I threw it into this Zydax X6 gaming PC that was sent to me by Zydax thanks to them as well as Intel for making this video possible.
