Women in Engineering Week- Software Engineering with Torus

In June 2022, the Meet Your Future team are hosting inspirational talks to celebrate Women in Engineering Day. Join us whilst we hear from women working for Greater Manchester engineering firms, their career journeys, and local opportunities. The events are perfect for your design technology, geography, maths and science classes – and ideal for those that have never explored or thought about a career in engineering before! These sessions will also help your teachers and students to challenge gender stereotyping in careers. Women in Engineering Day is an international awareness campaign to raise the profile of women in engineering and focus attention on the amazing career opportunities available to girls in this exciting industry. About this session: Hear from Rachel Boardman who will explore software engineering and ICT careers.
