The shield is capable of sending and receiving SMS messages as well as making and receiving phone calls. It can also connect to the Internet using the GPRS network. But we will take a look at this later on in another video. In this video, we connect to the GSM network of COSMOTE in Greece and we send an SMS message to a cell phone.
