Come spend a day with me in my homestead kitchen! My kitchen is where I spend the majority of my time, it feels like I always have some type of project going in there. Homemade bread is something I make weekly, and today was no exception. This bread is one of my go to's for sandwich bread, it's soft, fluffy, and doesn't fall apart. I moved on quickly to some crunchy, and lightly sweet pumpkin spice granola and then made some homemade pumpkin spice creamer - my homestead kitchen was smelling amazing! I finished out my day by making a delicious, and sort of healthy treat, date snickers. It was a good day in the homestead kitchen and I love sharing it with you! Would you like to contact me? 6heartson6acres@gmail.com Honey White Sandwich Bread - 2 loaves 6 C flour 6 Tbsp honey 2 C milk 2 tsp salt 4 Tbsp butter 4 1/2 tsp yeast Heat milk and butter until warm, add in honey and yeast, let proof for 5 min. Add to mixing bowl. Slowly add in flour and knead for 5 min. Let dough rest until doubled in size. Make 2 loaves and place in greased bread pans. Let rest until doubled. Bake at 350 for 35-40 min. Pumpkin Spice Granola 3 C oats 1/4 C brown sugar 1/4 C coconut oil 1/2 C pumpkin puree 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon 3/4 tsp ginger, nutmeg 1/2 tsp cloves, allspice, vanilla 1 Tbsp maple syrup 1/2 C pumpkin seeds Mix all ingredients together well, spread in a thin layer in a baking sheet. Bake for 45 min at 325 degrees stirring every 15 min. Pumpkin Spice Creamer 1 can sweetened condensed milk 4 Tbsp pumpkin puree 1 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice 1 tsp vanilla 2 C 1/2 and 1/2 Mix all ingredients together Dates Snickers Medjool Dates Peanut Butter Chocolate Crushed Peanuts Salt
