Our visit to the San Blas Islands in Panama! One of our favourite trips of 2019 was to Panama! We had been wanting to get back to Central America after travelling around Costa Rica and Nicaragua two years ago, and Panama had always been high on our list. We based ourselves in Panama City for a week, and fit in as many adventures as possible. One of the biggest highlights of our trip was a visit to the San Blas Islands, the most remote and secluded destination that we’ve ever visited. We snorkelled at a shipwreck, swam in the clearest blue waters we’ve ever seen, and wandered through the palm trees on the islands that were practically empty. It was such an incredible and unique travel experience!
