Best of all, the four movements covered in this video do not require any equipment. Pickleball injuries can arise if your body is not adequately prepared for physical movement. At best, it can lead to minor (but annoying) aches and pains. At worst, it can lead to substantial pain and the inability to keep yourself on the court. While nothing is as good as a thorough, individualized warmup routine, something is better than nothing. If you're someone who just wants a very simple, quick, and effective series of movements that can help prepare your entire body for the upcoming demands of your pickleball session, these four movements may be just the ticket. The exercises in this video help to specifically prepare: • Your shoulders and rotator cuff muscles • Your calf muscles and Achilles tendon • Your hip muscles (such as your glute medius and minimus muscles) • Your lower back (both the muscles and the joints) Best of all, this routine should only take around five minutes to complete. But by the end of it, you should feel that your body has had a nice little wakeup call and is therefore more alert and ready to go for moving around on the court and smashing that ball over the net! As always, if you're not sure what may be causing any of your aches and pains, be sure to get an assessment by a qualified healthcare professional to ensure it's safe for you to keep playing pickleball. *** My website: https://www.strengthresurgence.com *** Interested in becoming a physical therapist or just want to know a bit more about the profession?
