In this Shakedown, we get stuck into the perhaps overlooked motorsport discipline of Hill Climbing. I've gone up the biggest of them all - Pikes Peak - on a few occassions, but have never really sat down with an Unlimited dashboard with the intent of tweaking it over multiple runs through a stage, and that is of course the point of the Hill Climb rules, or certainly the main idea of those dashboards. So, setting ourselves at the bottom of a wet climb, can we set some personal best times and get some idea of how to go about building a capable car for the challenge ahead, or will we stall at the worst moment and ruin a run? 0:00 Intro 1:05 Rules 2:54 Run 1 11:36 Run 2 19:46 Run 3 27:55 Thoughts SHAKEDOWN is a showcase of Rallyman and the community that makes it what it is. From variant rules to recreated race tracks, from serious strategy to silly situations to find yourself in, I want to highlight anything and everything that makes this game shine, much of it community created content. What would you like to see the most? What aspect of Rallyman hasn't been explored enough? Which circuits are hidden gems? What rules do you insist others try out for themselves? Let me know, and be sure to spread the word about whatever great Rallyman content you find on your travels. This climb can be found in the Bouvier International track catalogue (https://www.bouvier-international.com..., though some changes have been made to it. Duplicate copies of tile 310 are needed to recreate it exactly, so some tiles have been moved around and exchanged to accomodate that - I'm not getting an entire extra expansion just to place a single die onto a single tile, but you do you. Just be sure to get the climb tile rules right, unlike me...
