This trail is what I would categorize as ridiculously easy. It's a very short loop with little to no elevation gain. This is not a trail for hikers who want a challenge. Where this trail excels is in the magnificent views from Mesa Arch. After a short trek (around the apex of the loop), you are greeted with an unmatched backdrop of Canyonlands National Park. There are canyons almost as far as the horizon, and the views are worth the trip into the park on their own. While the trail is nothing to write home about, the views could generate a novel. I highly suggest this for the vista alone.
