Hubsan H501S Altitude And Distance Test After Transmitter And Firmware Updates I took the Hubsan out for another distance and altitude test to see if it performed any better after i did the antenna mod and also the upgraded firmware on the Hubsan tot he Super flyer Firmware. i left the transmitter firmware as standard. i was at first a bit disappointed because it seem i was getting fpv drop out very early on in flight but once i had moved the patch antenna around i got really good fpv and took it all the way to a distance of 800m and i could have gone more so that was great But when i tried to do the altitude test is still did want to go past 250 the wind helped me get it to 280m but it lowered itself back to 250m. It was Very windy at high altitude so i am not sure what was causing this but i am going to look into this as i have seen reviews of people going much higher.
