About the HOPE Series: Created in 2020 at the start of the pandemic, this free, online series supports the resilience of our global community through social emotional arts. In accordance with our mission, with this series we aim to enhance the innate social-emotional benefits of the arts with supportive practices, such as non-judgmental language and reflection, for self-discovery, connection, and empowerment. Learn more: https://bit.ly/42OwdPK About the Session: Chronic or recurring pain can silence our creativity and disconnect us from our body. This gentle and empowering online session offers a restorative space to learn simple tools to support emotional regulation, increase self-awareness, and cultivate a more compassionate relationship with our pain. Together, we’ll slow down and tune into our body’s wisdom through guided breathwork, grounding techniques, and gentle movement before exploring oil pastels and watercolors to give form and color to our internal experiences—creating expressive images that reflect both the challenges and strengths within. Open to all, including caregivers of those living with chronic pain—and no previous artistic experience is required. Offered in partnership with Creative Healing for Youth in Pain (CHYP) in support of Pain Awareness Month.
