Utah, USA 🇺🇸 Download eSIM io now and invite your friend to get a $3 credit in your wallet! https://go1.esim.io/Lltr/jackaynsley We crossed into Utah with that quiet kind of anticipation you get when you know the landscape is about to change you. At Zion National Park the earth rises in great red cathedrals, carved by time and stubborn water. We took the Kayenta Trail, a modest path on paper, the sort of hike anyone could manage. But the views felt earned. Sheer sandstone walls glowing in the sun, the Virgin River cutting through the valley floor, silence broken only by boots on gravel. We wandered slightly off course, chasing the idea of waterfalls, half lost and fully content. There is something deeply satisfying about finishing a trail like that and walking into a small pub at the park entrance. Dust on your legs, sun in your face. I had a glass of wine, Paige a non-alcoholic beer before the long drive north. Red mountains surrounded us, watching quietly as the light softened. The road to Bryce Canyon felt like entering another season entirely. Desert gave way to snow. By the time we reached Bryce Canyon National Park the hoodoos stood frozen, dusted white, rising from the earth like some ancient civilisation turned to stone. Beautiful and severe. Altitude has a way of humbling you. My breathing shortened, my chest tightened, the simple act of walking became deliberate. We stayed as long as we could, standing at the rim, taking in that silent amphitheatre. And then we did the sensible thing. We went back down to lower ground. In a single day Utah showed us heat, snow, wine, exhaustion, silence and scale. It does not introduce itself gently. It simply exists, vast and indifferent, and lets you find your place within it. 👨🏻💻 Give us a follow on your favorite social media: / jackaynsleytravel / jackaynsleytravel & / paigeaynsleytravel / jackaynsleytravel & / paigeaynsleytravel 👋🏼 Support us!
