We're back with Part 2 of the 2025 Central Arizona Cactus & Succulent Society Show and Sale. It's the last day of the show and we shop until we drop - plants, cactus, succulents, and handmade pottery, oh my! We visit 17 vendor tables, and we also interview several vendors: Verinoka Countryman of AZVeronikaMakes, Peter Walkowiak of PeterWPlants, Thea Parker of T. Pottery, Bill Lindsay of Spines.n.clay, Xananda Wollard of Xananda Arts, and Michel Pillet of Prickly Prospects. Keep in mind that this was the last day of the show and sale, so we are seeing the inventory was left. I heard the tables were completely full at the start of the show and Friday was the busiest... oh well, we did what we could! CACSS Membership Information: https://centralarizonacactus.org/cacs... This was one of the most difficult videos that I have ever edited, especially given the self-imposed deadline of one week to complete and release the video on YouTube. Much of my after-work nights and weekends were spent getting this video ready to go. The order that the vendor tables are presented in the video is completely different from how they were recorded in real-time - I cut and rearranged everything. It was my attempt to keep things interesting, flowing, and also to save the best for last: the longer interviews with Xananda Arts and Prickly Prospects. There was a lot of footage and choosing what to keep and cut is always a big challenge. Also, all the vendor information that I researched to include in both the video captions and the description took a tremendous amount of time. Then there was the audio situation where my microphone experiment by holding it like a boom mic didn't work as well as I thought, so there was a lot of time adjusting levels in post and editing natural dialogue for video. My thought was to avoid having the interviewees clip and unclip the mic constantly but it seems we may just have to go with that in the future if there is a next time. I don't know if my intentions were achieved but I tried my best! #cactus #cactussucculents #succulent #succulents
