The middle ages were a time of great upheaval. Many kingdoms found themselves at war with one another; this disorder was a breeding ground for demons to feed on lost souls. This would also be the birthplace of Grapha, the Dragon Lord of the Dark World. For centuries Grapha ruled in the shadows, feeding off the pain and agony of those around him. His might would go unchallenged until a group of religious zealots, embodied with dark magic, trapped his demonic soul between our world and the next. His prison would be known as the Gates of Dark World. From that moment until now, Grapha's minions searched for a way to release their master. They learned that the staff used to imprison him was the key to Graphas freedom. As the minions of Dark World searched for the staff, the nations of the world gathered all their greatest warriors, Elements of every region of the Earth, together they would form a team that could counter the minions of Dark World. They spread out across the planet looking for there foes. There searches seemed to be in vain until Alius discovered their location. He sent messages to the others to rally upon his position, but he knew that the minions of Dark World were about to release their master. It was up to him to stall until the others could arrive. Alius lunged at Snoww, leaping for the staff, hoping she did not have time to recite the incantation that could release Grapha. As he crashed into her he grabbed her staff and blasted her with its unholy magic. But before he could escape with the staff he was shot in the leg with an arrow by, Broww, the Huntsman of Dark World. Alius knew his end was near. As Broww took aim with his bow he stated, "You were a fool to think you could stand up to us by yourself," but as Broww was about to finish him off, Alius saw lightning crashing from the sky to his position and strike Broww before he could fire. Alius stood back to his feet and proclaimed, "Heroes are never alone!" His teammate, Voltic had arrived, but it was too late. The Gates of Dark World were opening, and Grapha was about to return to our world. Alius looked at Voltic and they knew they had but one final option. If they fused their powers together, they could form a being strong enough to stand up to the power of Grapha. As Grapha stepped through the gates he screamed, "Freedom," but as he turned to face his faithful minions, he was blinded by a Shining Light. The Elemental Heroes had created their last chance to stop Grapha....
