How To Connect Motorbike To Laptop - KLX250 / KLX330 API Tech Aftermarket ECU Tuning

After increasing the engine capacity of my Kawasaki Dtracker X / KLX250 to 330cc, an aftermarket ECU was needed. This is to tweak the parameters such as air flow / temperature / fuel amounts and RPMS. This is done by installing a map, which is shown here how to do. UPDATE NOTE : Here are some alternatives which actually offer more reliability as they work as pigy back controllers attached to your standard ecu (I have now gone this route as the API standalone ecu has died on my 4 times, i would recommend the EJK below rather than the API Tech, plus you dont ned to hook the ejk up to a laptop to tune it, it has buttons on the device for quick changes) : EJK Fuel Controller (For Big Bore or Standard Bikes) : https://geni.us/pyoDp6 I also show quickly how to set the temperature the fan comes on (because it never ever comes on with the standard setting, even when riding hard and the bike gets really hot). This ECU is made by API Tech in Thailand, who make a great product, but have terrible service. If getting one of these chips, you need to know how to setup and tune yourself or contact Keng at Kawasaki in Chiang Mai (who tunes and modifies these bikes in his spare time). Find him on facebook : Keng Engine. If you are watching and are not in Thailand, below are some links to other ECU / fuel controllers which can be used on stock standard of modified bikes. They vary in price, features and reviews, so please compare from links below : EJK Fuel Controller (For Big Bore or Standard Bikes) : https://geni.us/pyoDp6 Kawasaki KLX Hand Grips : https://geni.us/wSXCRtl Kawasaki KLX Hand Guards : https://geni.us/4dkzUlg
