Bonjour! Come join us in the countryside and share a very french moment : le goûter! In French we say "le goûter, c'est sacré!" meaning afternoon tea is sacred. Around 4pm in France, it is time for a sweet break. Last sunday I put together a special autumn table for our goûter, I wanted to create a whimsical atmosphere for us to gather as a family and have a good time. We enjoyed a delicious Brioche Feuilletée and speculoos bites (recipe below). SPECULOOS BITES 200gr of speculoos biscuits 200gr of boudoirs (biscuits cuillers) 300gr of mascarpone 4 TBSP of icing sugar 1 espresso coffee Blend all biscuits together until thin, add the icing sugar, mascarpone and espresso coffee.
