Motorcycle Tour of France on a BMW 1250 GSA and Triumph Tiger 900 - Ep 6

This final episode takes to the magnificent Chateau De Sarceaux, a family owned private Chateau with accommodation. We had an amazing overnight stay and some great weather - perfect for sitting out with pre dinner drinks and excellent company! The following day took us further north for a lunch break in the beautiful seaside town of Honfleur. it's a perfect place to sit by the harbour and watch the world go by. We've stayed there before on a previous bike tour and it's one of our favourite places to stay near the Normandy coast. From Honfleur it is just a short ride along the coast to our final destination of the pretty town of Deauville. We had planned to visit some of the D Day beaches, Arromanches and Pegasus Bridge when we originally organised this tour but unfortunately for us it coincided with the 80th anniversary of the landings. Basically, the whole of Normandy was a restricted area for security - are plans were well and truly scuppered! By way of consolation, on the way to the ferry port on the final morning, we had the opportunity to ride over Pegasus Bridge on a virtually empty early morning ride.
