Udyan Express With Extra Power!!! Twin Gooty WDG-4 Locomotives at Khandala…

A couple of days ago, at Khandala station, I was lucky to spot the Bangalore - Mumbai Udyan Express with a massive offlink. It had got a pair of WDG-4 locomotives from Gooty shed (numbers 12546 and 12601). One WDG-4 locomotive itself is so powerful that it can haul massive goods trains single handedly. So imagine the combined power of 2 such locomotives with a passenger train - a total overpower. What made it better was the foggy weather and also the fact that as the Udyan Express was leaving Khandala on the third line, a pair of Kalyan WCAM-3 bankers also started descending on the middle line.
