DISCLAIMER - I'm not a CFI. Do not use this video for educational purposes. Hey there captain! I have been asked to create a video explaining what stalls are and to show how to recover from it. I was surprised to see that there are quite a few videos online about spins, but not so many about stalls. Even though spins are quite more dangerous than stalls, I think it still makes sense to talk about stalls also, so I took the Cessna 152 to the skies and practiced some stall recovery! I hope you enjoy the video. I demonstrate the steps in a very discreet manner for the sake of demonstration, but they are not necessarily so separated. Important is to relieve pressure and reduce that angle of attack first. Be ready to apply rudder to counteract that yaw tendency as you apply power. Thanks Dan for pointing this out.
