S1 – Ep 495 – St Helena Bay, Western Cape!

Our drive to St Helena Bay on a misty gravel road was the perfect start to this day. St Helena Bay is a bustling coastal town in the Western Cape, primarily known for its vibrant fishing industry. Although our arrival was complicated by major roadworks, we managed to explore quite a bit of the area. St Helena Bay Hotel was our first stop and it offered beautiful facilities and breathtaking views of the ocean. We also visited the harbour, and although we missed the fishermen returning with their catch, we observed the area being cleaned after a busy morning. The view from the top of the hill overlooking the bay was stunning, and to our delight, we spotted a herd of eland, which was a wonderful surprise.
