He invites us into a way of life. A life where we let go of false securities and attachments that block God’s grace; choose what leads us to love and serve God more; discern God’s presence in all things; nurture a personal relationship with Jesus; follow Jesus with humble, loving obedience; live as disciples—together, in community, and on mission: mission flowing from prayer and obedience. This is the path of the Beatitudes. This is the path of true blessing. To live daily as His disciples—poor in spirit, merciful, pure of heart—for the sake of God’s Kingdom.
