Join us for a full day in Almaty, Kazakhstan 🇰🇿 as we explore culture, history, city views, and local life. We start our day by cooking delicious chicken and egg curry at our Airbnb, preparing a hearty meal for later. Next, we head to Degirmen on Arbat Street, where we tasted amazing Turkish food and refreshing fruit tea, and then we soaked in the vibrant street vibes and local café culture on Arbat Street. We then visit Green bazar briefly, to buy some pecans which we absolutely fell in love with. Our adventure continues at the Central State Museum of Kazakhstan, home to fascinating exhibits on nomadic culture, traditional crafts, musical instruments, and the legendary Golden Man of Issyk. By evening, we take the cable car up to Koktobe Hill, one of Almaty’s top attractions. From panoramic sunset views to sparkling city lights, amusement rides, and the iconic Almaty TV Tower — Koktobe is a place which you can definitely add to your checklist if you have time. We end the day with a quick fruit shopping trip and a relaxing home-cooked Bengali dinner back at our Airbnb.
