Arknights: Endfield has the potential to define an entire generation of gacha games. Instead, judging by the beta test, it is being held back by an audience it was never intended for. If you do not agree with the premises or conclusion of this video, I strongly encourage you to leave a comment explaining why. Not because I think my argument is watertight, but because I would be absolutely delighted to be wrong. I want Endfield to live up to its potential - I just don't think it will. This game means more to me than most people realise. As such, this video took about a month to make, with most of it constituted by incessant script rewrites and sifting through literal weeks worth of alpha and beta footage, and finally publishing it is an enormous burden lifted from my shoulders. I don't think I'll ever make a high-effort video this long again.
