This 62MAS Reissue Is STUNNING | Seiko SBDC051 Review

Besides the similar case shape, I wouldn't call this a 62MAS Reissue - that spot goes to the almost unobtainable SLA017. This JDM Prospex is more of a modern reinterpretation of the legendary Seiko dive watch. It comes with a much larger case that's finished with zaratsu polishing. It also comes with a different set of indices and hands - both featuring an excellent application of Lumibrite. The sapphire crystal it comes with is gorgeously domed and has blue AR coating on the underside of it. The quality bracelet it comes on completes the whole package. All things considered, I'd say the SBDC051 / SPB051 is an excellent dive watch under $1000. You get a well-built, beautiful package for the price. It might not be the 62MAS Reissue most of us hoped for, but it's a great affordable dive watch in its own right. Huge props to Khairil for loaning me this watch for review.
