Start your digital accessibility journey

This short, 30-minute workshop for University of Minnesota students, faculty, and staff will give you the practical foundation you need to make your Google docs, Zoom meetings, presentations, emails, websites, and other digital materials more accessible to everyone. You will learn about the importance of digital accessibility, the seven core skills, and other resources and training available to you no matter what your role is at the University. Also learn about the University's Cultivate Inclusion Challenge and how you can get involved. Start small, start now! When we practice digital accessibility, we encourage our community to go beyond accommodating individual people with disabilities. Rather, our goal is to make content accessible to all at the point of creation, and in doing so, demonstrate one of our core values—that all people share equal rights to learn, work, and connect.
