I apologize for any typo💕 Watch in HD for the best quality... 💕 Today's Video: Keeping the Days Warm and Peaceful | Slow Living in Finland🕯️❄ 💕 Moist Lemon Loaf Cake Ingredients: 200g sugar 2 tsp lemon zest 110g butter (softened but not melted) 2 tbsp vegetable oil 30 ml fresh lemon juice 187g all-purpose flour 1 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt 120 ml milk Glaze: 50g icing sugar 20 ml fresh lemon juice Instructions: 1. Preheat oven (160ºC). 2. In a bowl, add sugar and lemon zest, and mix until the oil and aroma of zest are incorporated with sugar 2. Add butter and mix until incorporated 3. Add oil, whisk until fluffy, and turn to pale yellow 4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing after every addition. When it is fluffy, add lemon juice and mix. 5. Sift in flour, baking powder and salt. Fold until there are no traces of flour. Add milk and whisk just until smooth. Do not over-mixed. 6. Line an 8x4x3 inches loaf pan with parchment paper. Place the batter, spread evenly, and tap to release excess bubbles. 7. Bake in a preheated oven for 40 to 50 minutes or until the toothpick inserted comes out clean. 8. Remove the cake from the oven, remove the parchment paper, and let it cool down completely on the cake serving dish. 9. Prepare the lemon glaze: Mix icing sugar and lemon juice together. Pour the glaze on the cake and decorate with lemon zest. 10. Serve and enjoy! Ginger Turmeric Shots Ingredients: 5 lemons 100g ginger 100 ml water 2 tsp turmeric powder Instructions: 1. Prepare the lemons by removing the seeds and skin, then chop them into smaller pieces. 2. Peel off the ginger skin and chop it into smaller pieces. 3. Transfer lemons and ginger to the blender, add water, and blend. 4. In a Pitcher, add turmeric powder, pour the ginger-lemon mixture, and mix well. 5. Pour the ginger turmeric mixture into the cube mold and freeze for a few hours or overnight. 6. Enjoy each shot with lukewarm water; add honey or syrup to taste. Happy drinking!
