Starfarers still has the classic Catan mechanics like trading, dice rolling for resource, and hand management, but is now bigger at 2 hours. You may fight pirates or discovery barren ice planets, and use upgrades to deal with them. Space Catan is also much more expensive, with an MSRP of $100! Is Catan Studio giving a deluxe, more complicated Catan that is worth it?
