Part 2 of firing up this 1979 Z80 design, Miller Technology M-80 vintage single board computer. In this video i track down a couple of trivial but critical issues and it is looking more and more like this is a kit which was never completed. In the end, the board fetched what is probably its first ever opcode. Now that the board is attempting to do opcode fetches, in the next video I will use the only pin that is under full and independent software control to demonstrate the Z80 is fetching valid opcodes and therefore is actually running code. Who knows what that pin is? During one specific T-State, this pin has no purpose but its set/clear value is entirely under software control?
