My name is Julia Tang and I’m a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). I love working with athletes and active individuals of all ages, helping them improve their daily functional activities as well as sports performance. No matter what skill level, age, or experience, strength training is an important part of any healthy exercise routine, and can improve your overall function and longevity. In this video, I try to make full body strength training accessible, in just 15 minutes, with modifications if needed. If you want to have an easier time lifting groceries, kids, pets, getting up from a chair, gardening, or just to be healthier in general, give this workout a try! Warmup: Knee to chest, turtle herders, arm circles/butt kicker, squat to overhead reach Circuit of 3 exercises, 40 sec on/20 sec off x4 Squats-this is great for getting up off a chair or toilet, lifting kids, or picking up groceries Bent over rows-this is great for pulling weeds, improving your posture, or doing laundry Bicep curl to overhead press-this is great for putting away dishes, putting your carryon luggage in the overhead bin, or giving uppies
