Welcome back aboard! It's day five of our fourteen-day Mediterranean cruise and today we made port in the breathtaking Palma de Mallorca, the capital of Spain’s Balearic Islands! We spent the day wandering through the enchanting old town, with its narrow cobbled streets, charming courtyards, and historic buildings that whisper stories from centuries past. One of the highlights of our visit was the awe-inspiring La Seu Cathedral, a true architectural masterpiece that dominates the skyline with its soaring Gothic spires and stunning views over the sea. Whether it was sipping coffee in a quiet plaza, browsing local shops, or simply soaking in the Mediterranean atmosphere, Palma offered the perfect blend of culture, history, and relaxation. As the sun dipped lower in the sky, we left port under a calm sea and a gentle, warm wind—an ideal farewell to this beautiful island. With smooth sailing ahead, and another enforced relaxation day, we're now bound for our next destination: La Spezia in Italy, gateway to Florence and Pisa. Join us for peaceful sailing views, onboard moments, and a heartfelt goodbye to one of the Mediterranean’s true gems. If you enjoy these travel days at sea, don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more adventures from port to port! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Music: Hebrides Overture Fingal's Cave Performed by: The Czech National Symphony Orchestra Publisher: Musopen Kickstarter Project License terms (CC Public Domain Mark 1.0 Universal) CC PDM 1.0 Creative Commons - Public Domain Mark 1.0 Universal No Copyright: This work has been identified as being free of known restrictions under copyright law, including all related and neighboring rights.
