This week IT finally happened // WEEK 26 - The Netherlands - Zeeland

We spent this week in The Netherlands, in the province of Zeeland. Parts of this province are below sea level, and there is water everywhere. We visited highlights such as Domburg, Vlissingen and Middelburg. Our first stop of the week was near the Scheldt river, where the banks are getting dry during low tide and beautiful 'beaches' appear. Many beautiful things happen unexpectedly, this evening it was the case as well. However kids were already in pyjama, we went out to check out the parts of beach dried by the low tide, and we enjoyed beautiful moments with the sun going down. We then crossed to the next and main peninsula of Zeeland, where we had a little city hopping visiting the beautiful and picturesque cities of Middelburg (capital of Zeeland) and Vlissingen. We needed some rest afterwards, so we went to the beaches around Domburg. What a beautiful nature spectacle. No buildings, no restaurants nor toilets, just nature and our camper Seal 5 from Rimor. Luckily we had him close to him, so we could enjoy our stay on the beach without loosing our comfort.
