Israel intercepts barrage of Iranian missiles in latest attack | ABS-CBN News

Israeli efforts to intercept Iranian missile barrages early on Tuesday (March 3) could be seen in the sky in the West Bank, Israel, as the U.S. and Israeli air war against Iran entered its forth day. Flares flying up and down in the sky could be seen from the West Bank city of Hebron as well as over the Israeli cities of Tel Aviv and Haifa, while air raid sirens could be heard. The joint military campaign that was launched on Saturday (February 28) seemed to widen, with no end in sight as Israel attacked Lebanon in response to strikes by Hezbollah and Tehran kept up its missile and drone attacks on Gulf states that host U.S. military bases. U.S. President Donald Trump said the operation could continue for some weeks and that it was unclear who was in charge in Iran, following the targeted killing of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in the opening hours of the U.S.-Israel campaign over the weekend.
