In the next two episodes, we opened up in a way we never have before. Daps shared how prison forced him into stillness — a moment in life where he finally had space to reflect, rebuild, and reconnect deeply with his faith. Lech spoke on the moment he told his mum he was going to therapy… and her confusion. “Was she not enough? Was prayer not enough?” That conversation opened a door many of us have been scared to walk through. And even before sharing my own journey, I had to pause and recognise something: our generation is rewriting the story around mental health. We’re tearing down stigma. We’re choosing healing. We’re choosing honesty. And we’re choosing each other. I ended the episode giving both of them their flowers — and giving our entire generation their flowers too. Because we’re doing the work. And one thing I had to say loud and clear: Black women are tired of being strong. They deserve to just… exist. Let this episode be a reminder — healing isn’t weakness. Vulnerability isn’t shame. And taking care of your mind is just as important as taking care of your body. Drop a comment: What moment in your life pushed you to start taking your mental health seriously?
