Touring Sun Princess - The Next Generation of Princess Ships!

Follow along as I highlight a few areas onboard that really stood out during our week of sailing the Western Caribbean. Sun Princess is the next generation of Princess Cruises ships. Personally, I found the ship to be a step forward; however, I did meet and speak with some people onboard who still prefer the older ships in the fleet. I've been fortunate to have sailed and toured many of these ships over the years and it seems to be a recurring theme. A new ship comes out, people try it, judge it, and compare it to the previous models. Some love it, some hate it, and so it continues. When I sail Princess I get invited to the Princess Captains Circle cocktail party and on each sailing they give an award to the person(s) onboard who has the most days at sea with Princess. I always take a moment to talk with this person(s) and ask the same two questions every time. Favourite ship? Favourite itinerary? This time around the guest I spoke with said she doesn't think of it that way. She said, "this is the best cruise and the best ship because I'm onboard it right now." This really resonated with me. Try to live in the moment, enjoy things as they happen, and stop comparing it to the past. This was the best cruise and the best ship because I was enjoying it at that moment. Now I carry the memories with me and have this video as a reminder of the great time had onboard.
