I really wasnt sure if i should release this video...... this has got to be one of the most difficult moments of my life. So in summary, filming for this job was well underway, the car required a whole heap of strip down and it was not fun at all. Already in a low place after being told i have stage 1 cancer before the job started but it was about to get painfully worse , the doctor calls with the camera running as i was about to record a segment, im then told after the initial scans they got wrong and its infact a stage 3 cancer and has a small spread . My world literally crumbled at the moment and combined with the stress of the job and then hearing that life changing news.... All i could think about was my 9 year old son, i REALLY struggled to get through this one after hearing that news. Luckily my partner was on hand to pick me up like she always does and together we finished the job. I wanted to release this video as im extremely proud to have finished it, my head is in a good space and i'm ready for this next chapter of my life. A Tough day no doubt. As i type this Chemo starts in 2 weeks and depending on how it is for me, i will likely need to shut down the business for a period while i recover. i will however keep posting videos etc and plan to do some bis of the chemo journey to helps others......
