Comfy Cosy Knitwear Sweater Nails

Hiya Duck, It’s getting a bit cold now, so we’re going to be doing a cosy sweater set with a few different designs. Lets get crackin’ On a client, I’d base coat but this is the Aleana hand so I’m going to go straight in with my base colour from the Flash Gel collection (colours listed below) and do two coats. The next step is using Mercury to make little sections for my designs, doing some French and some cut outs. I’ll then Matte Top Coat all my nails. I’m then going to match my Flash Gels colours to a flat colour to add my designs. I’m going to start with the classic cable knit, which is a line of ’S’ shapes and then little angled lines to the side. I’m also doing a little corn/plait type design, doing little elongated dots angled against each other. I’ll then use a mix of those shapes on the other nails. I’m going to add little snowflakes on some of the nails with White Out. For some nails, I’ll take acrylic powder and saturate the gel polish, on others I’ll top coat the design and on the rest I’ll top coat the flash gel and for the rest of the nails, I’ll wipe the sticky layer off.
